Description

We are a not-for-profit organisation and peak governing body of Queensland Polocrosse Association.  We are governed by a board of directors and are responsible for the governance, development, promotion and administration of the sport in QLD.

The position of QPA State Executive Officer is a very autonomous role requiring initiative, the ability to self-direct and superior communication skills.  The primary objective of this position must always be to facilitate the goals of the Association under the direction of the QPA Board.

The successful candidate will be an individual that possesses drive, passion, initiative and enjoys thinking on their feet, working in a collaborative environment and is prepared to roll up their sleeves and work hands-on to deliver quality outcomes.  With the proven ability to review operational processes, you will be well-placed to develop and drive best practice within the organisation.  Your prowess in managing multiple priorities for a diverse range of stakeholders will be key to your success.  Your well-developed personal skills will mean you are adept in liaising with clubs, volunteers, colleagues, other State Associations and Polocrosse Australia executive, stakeholders, government and Board members.

A background in polocrosse is not required, however you must have an understanding of the state and community sporting landscape and be committed to providing strong foundations for the growth of polocrosse throughout QLD.

  • Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
  • Drivers Licence
