Meriden is an Anglican school with a Christian foundation. Many of the staff live out their Christian faith in their lives and are active members of a local church. Staff at Meriden are required to actively invest in the Christian ethos of the School, be loyal to the School and the Principal, and publicly supportive of the School’s decisions.
Meriden is seeking enthusiastic and energetic Sports coaches to work with our students in the following sports:
- Athletics
- Badminton
- Basketball (Term 1 commence)
- Cross Country
- Football (Term 1 commence)
- Netball
- Swimming Teachers (Qualified)
- Touch Football
- Volleyball
- Water Polo
Meriden’s sports program is a dynamic and central aspect of school life, characterised by enthusiastic student participation and a dedication to teamwork, sportsmanship, and fostering healthy, balanced lifestyles. With a strong track record of success across various sports, we are seeking coaches for 2025 to help us continue building on this legacy.
Meriden sports coaches join a dynamic team dedicated to teaching skills, strategies, and preparing students for Saturday inter-school competitions.
Candidates must be available on Saturday mornings (for at least one game, usually scheduled between 8am and 12pm) during the school term, as well as for two training sessions per week, held either in the morning or afternoon depending on availability.
All coaches will receive a Meriden coaching uniform (excluding footwear) and a competitive hourly rate based on experience, with Saturday penalty rates also applicable.

- A current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) number or to be applied

- Names and contact details of three referees. As well as these details, the applicant should also consider including the name and contact details of the Minister of the Church which he/she attends
