About the Position:

NSWRL is seeking applications for the position of Digital & Social Content Producer within our Community Engagement & Communications department.

This position will be integral to the sourcing and generating of engaging social, video and written content for NSWRL’s print, online and social media platforms, servicing all areas of NSWRL, as well as whole-of-game promotion from grassroots to the Blues and our community programs.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Producing and creating engaging video, photographic and social content to deliver through the NSWRL’s online, M site, app and social channels.
  • Shooting and editing video content;
  • Managing and executing social graphics/ content plan;
  • Collaborating with the Commercial team to ensure partner brands are represented effectively;
  • Writing/ proofreading editorial content and match reports;
  • Providing general communications support within the department.

About You:

The successful candidate will:

  • Possess a relevant degree qualification in Communications, Media, Journalism, Digital Media or other relevant study or significant work experience (2-3 years), specialising in digital content production;
  • Have high-quality video shooting, editing and production skills;
  • Have competent written/ journalistic/ proofreading skills;
  • Be a proficient user of Adobe Suite, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop;
  • Have knowledge of social media and trends on those platforms;
  • Be organised, flexible and have a positive and collaborative approach to working in a team.

Consistent with the nature of the sporting industry, the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work weekends, evenings and reasonable additional hours as is required to fulfil the requirements of this position. Remuneration is set in recognition of this requirement.
