We are seeking a High-Performance (Senior) Gymnastics Coach to join our dynamic team and lead the development of future champions on the state, national, and international stage.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching and Athlete Development
- Deliver high-quality coaching to athletes across National, Future, Junior, and Senior International levels.
- Develop and implement individual learning and performance plans (ILPP) for athletes that are categorised athletes
- Provide technical and performance coaching tailored to athlete needs.
- Monitor athlete progress, provide feedback, and adjust plans to optimize performance.
Program Development
- Create and update group and individual training programs.
- Collaborate with support teams to integrate sports science, medicine, and other services.
- Actively contribute to a systematic pathway for athlete development at all levels.
Team Mentorship
- Mentor, train, and develop PGA’s coaching team.
- Build a strong, collaborative coaching culture aligned with club values.
Administration and Leadership
- Liaise with parents, service providers, and support personnel as required.
- Contribute to the development of annual calendars, including training, competitions, and camps.
- Represent PGA at competitions, camps, and Gymnastics WA/GA initiatives.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and club policies.
Maintain a safe training environment for athletes and staff.
About You
Qualifications
- High Performance / FIG Level 3 Accreditation (or equivalent). Potentially consider a FIG 2/Advanced Silver accreditation dependent on experience.
- Current Working with Children Check (WA) or equivalent.
- First Aid/CPR Certificate.
- National Police Clearance.
Experience
- Proven track record of success coaching at State, National, and international levels.
- Experience developing athletes in high-performance environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire other coaches.

Hours and Flexibility
This role requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and travel for competitions and camps.
