Croquet NSW is a not for profit, membership based, sports association that administers the sport of croquet across NSW and the ACT.
The Admin and Communications Officer for Croquet New South Wales will play a key role in the communication and admin functions to support our volunteer run organisation.
We are seeking a motivated self-starter that can work remotely and understands the needs of a sporting organisation in regard to working with volunteers and the occasional non-traditional hours.
Specific Roles and Responsibilities
Administration:
- Management and maintenance of member and club information via Revolutionise Sport.
- Producing membership and other reports as requested by the Board or clubs.
- Provide secretarial support to the Board, including minute taking, report generation, managing action items and email communications.
- Provide support in the administration and promotion of tournaments and other CNSW events.
- Provide support for officials’ training and coaching programs with committee support, bookings and financial claims.
Communications:
- Manage the social media pages for Croquet NSW.
- Update and monitor the organisation’s website
- Use Revolutionise Sport as a communication tool to our members
- Use the membership platform to manage membership and club information
Skills and Experience
For the most part, the role will be flexible with hours to suit the successful applicant.
Familiarity with Revolutionise Sport platform, and proficiency with Microsoft OneDrive and Microsoft Office Suite would be an advantage. Experience working in the sport or non-profit industries will be highly regarded. Qualifications in sports administration/communication or similar would be an advantage.
This is a part-time position, at 30 hours per week, for an initial period of 6 months, with the option of an extension for a further 12 months. Employment conditions are flexible: open to contract or casual conditions.
Salary range proposed is $30 - $35 per hour.
