Description

Bankstown Football are seeking a strongly motivated person, preferably with experience in Sports Administration to focus on the efficient running of administration and stakeholder engagement. The objectives of this full-time position are:

  • To ensure the efficient running of the Office for Bankstown District Football Association
  • To provide administrative support to the General Manager
  • To provide administrative support to each department
  • Maintain databases
  • To provide a link and be the principal point of contact between the Association and Clubs participating in all BDAFA competitions
  • To provide a link between the BDAFA and external stakeholders

Essential Requirements 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or practical experience to fulfil this role
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Computer literate, particularly MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Internet, Email)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professionally presented
  • Flexible in work hours

Desirable Criteria 

  • Knowledge of Grassroots sports Governance and Competitions’ structure
  • Knowledge of online registration and competition management systems
  • Knowledge & experience with accounting program Xero will be highly regarded
