The Opportunity:

As the Interim CEO, you will provide hands-on leadership and management, ensuring the organisation operates efficiently while advancing our strategic priorities. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will oversee all aspects of Motorcycling Victoria’s operations, finances, and stakeholder relationships, positioning the organisation for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the organisation during the interim period, maintaining stability and momentum in operations.
• Work closely with the Board of Directors to execute strategic initiatives and ensure effective governance.
• Oversee financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow participation across all levels of the sport, with a focus on accessibility, inclusivity, and engaging grassroots communities
• Manage the Broadford State Motorcycle Sports Complex, ensuring its efficient operation, maintenance, and development.
• Highlight the facility's versatility in marketing campaigns, to attract and grow the usage of the complex to non-member groups.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including clubs, riders, sponsors, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a culture of inclusivity, safety, and excellence across all activities.
• Support the transition to a permanent CEO by providing comprehensive handover documentation and insights.

About You:

We are seeking a results-driven professional with:

• Proven experience in executive leadership roles, ideally in sports administration or a related field.
• Strong financial and operational management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• A collaborative and decisive approach to leadership.
• Knowledge of motorsport or motorcycling (desirable but not essential).
• Availability to commit to the interim period and flexibility to adapt to organizational needs.
