Hockey Queensland is looking for a State Team and Logistics Coordinator to manage the travel, accommodation, and operational needs of our state teams, Brisbane Blaze, officials and to support key events.
About the Role:
This role is all about making sure our players, coaches, and officials get where they need to be with everything they need. Whether it's managing travel for state teams, coordinating logistics for Hockey One events, or assisting with Junior Blaze camps, you’ll be the key person making it all happen. You’ll work closely with accommodation and travel providers, suppliers, and Hockey Queensland stakeholders to deliver seamless experiences.
In this role, you will be:
- Managing travel, accommodation, and logistics for state teams, the Brisbane Blaze, officials attending State Championships and other organisation travel as required.
- Coordinating uniforms and equipment distribution.
- Supporting Junior Blaze camps, state trials, and Hockey One events.
- Liaising with travel and accommodation providers, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Communicating with players, coaches, officials, and stakeholders to ensure clarity and that their travel is organised and in line with Hockey Qld’s policies.
- Assisting with ticketing, volunteer coordination, and event delivery.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised – Juggling multiple logistics at once is second nature to you.
- A great communicator and has a high level of customer service – You can keep players, coaches, officials, and stakeholders informed and confident.
- Detail-oriented – Budgets, schedules, and documentation are all kept sharp and accurate.
- Proficient with IT – Comfortable using databases, Microsoft Office, and event management tools.
- Able to work independently and think ahead.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- A background in sports/event logistics or a background in the travel industry
- Experience working with sporting pathways or competition structures.
- Familiarity with the Revolutionise Sport platform and other databases.
