MUBC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Rowing/ Head Coach to implement and lead the overall MUBC Rowing program with particular focus on our high-performance program. The club has a dedicated team of successful coaches, and this role would provide leadership, guidance and mentoring.

The club is supported by the University of Melbourne and Melbourne Uni Sport and is governed by the MUBC committee with operational leadership from the MUBC General Manager.

The MUBC Head Coach is responsible for:

• leading the overall MUBC Rowing Program,
• Fostering a professional sporting environment and
• developing and leading the MUBC-based Daily Performance Environment (DPE) for NPPP athletes in their role as Performance Pathway Head Coach

The person is responsible for ensuring the program is aligned to both MUBC’s strategic goals and the NPPP Program objectives.

The successful applicant will have a solid understand the rowing club environment, an excellent knowledge of current technical and training models, proven success in leading teams, the ability to lead and guide other coaches, an ability to recruit quality athletes and an ability to coordinate a variety of rowing cohorts to produce a harmonious yet professional club environment.
