How you can play a part

Reporting to the General Manager - Recruitment & Pathways, the purpose of the Recruitment Analyst is to support the player recruitment process within the NRL, Academy and Talent Pathways Programs through

• Analysing player performance data, video forage, scouting reports and market trends to support identification of talent for recruitment
• Provide key support to the General Manager - Recruitment & Pathways in the identification and assessment of junior players including JRL, schools, NRL academies & tournaments and senior players
• Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of junior players
• Regular report tracking
• Perform in-depth analysis on diverse data sets
• Utilise multiple data sources to support the player identification and analysis process
• Provide the General Manager with trend analysis information to advance the identification and interpretation of player performance profiles
• Develop new dashboards and metrics to enhance our understanding of player potential and other activities related to reporting & insights
• Various ad hoc tasks as required

To be considered

To be considered for this opportunity you will have

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Sports Science, or a related field
• Previous experience in data analysis, sports analytics or recruitment role
• High levels of computer literacy including video analysis tools (MS Office Suite, SQL, Tableau, Analyser)
• Strong understanding of rugby league tactics, player roles, and performance metrics
