Are you a doctor with a keen interest in sports and the management of sporting injuries? We are seeking an experienced Sports Doctor (Contractor) to work alongside our established physiotherapy team, providing medical oversight for schoolboy football and rugby games.
Role Details:
Location: Northbridge Playing Fields Hours: Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Employment Terms: 24th March, 2025 - 16th August ,2025 Contractor Position: This is an independent contractor role, not an employed position. The successful applicant will require their own ABN and be responsible for their own insurance and tax obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the physiotherapy team to assess and manage sporting injuries.
Provide medical support throughout the day, assisting with injury management.
Assess and analyse potential concussion injuries, ensuring player safety.
Communicate effectively with parents and coaches regarding injuries and player well-being.
Maintain accurate injury records for the school.
