About the team -
The Systems and Applications Team works within the Enterprise and IT Support Services Section of
technology Group and supports the implementation and operation support of the ASC’s developed and deployed technology architecture.
The teams work across Technology Group to support business as usual (BAU) ICT plans and provides guidance to ensure operationally supported and maintained systems and applications, are enabled to deliver effective and efficient ICT sustainment across the organisation.
About the role -
The IT System and Application Support role will assist in the support, maintenance and management of Technology Groups IT enterprise systems and applications in support of the broader ASC’s organisational strategies.
The role will provide advise, support, and deliver industry bests practices in On-Premise and Cloud service offerings for ICT systems and application and will engage with ASC business partners and vendors to maintain reliable, secure, efficient and sustainable ICT production services for ASC.
Working autonomously, proactively engaging across Technology Group, ASC and its partners to prioritise and coordinate cohesive ICT service delivery, support and maintenance. Key duties of the role include:
- Provide technical support across a broad range of, products, systems, and applications- including Cloud and on-premises platforms.
- Work autonomously to manage effective implementation of major technology changes. Ensuring approaches integrate with standard practices and appropriate consultation with stakeholders.
- Document configurations, changes and procedures to support effective service integration across Technology Group, the team and alignment with ASC business continuity outcomes.
- Integrate commercial delivery partners into effective delivery teams.
- Proactively and professionally communicate with key business and external partner stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, consulting with colleagues to develop agreed resolutions.
- Monitor and maintain technology environment resilience and control measures (including system changes); ensuring that system and application changes do not diminish ASC technology environment information security or service resilience standards.
- Actively participate in the development and implementation of policies, processes, procedures and other supporting documentation that deliver business outcomes for ASC.
- Actively promote and role model the ASC values of Excellence, Integrity, Respect and Teamwork, and contribute to positive organisational change, effective communication, and continuous improvement at the ASC.
- Work collaboratively as part of a high performing team/organisation, establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with key internal and/or external stakeholders to deliver high quality business outcomes.
About you -
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals with a proven track record delivering outcomes in an ITSM, ITIL and Agile work environment. Desirable capabilities for the successful candidate include:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or technology experience and skills across a broad range of digital enterprise platforms, products, systems and applications.
- Experience working with Azure, o365, SSO (Single Sign On), VMWare ESX, Microsoft Windows Server.
- Experience with Powershell scripting, SCCM/InTune packaging, server/application patching.
- Systems and Application Management experience.
- Networking experience
- Demonstrated analytical. troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Written and oral communication skills with an ability to communicate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability undertake self-directed work that delivers timely outcomes in a service performance context.

Eligibility
- To be eligible for this position applicants are required to be Australian citizens only and must be able to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance.
