Brisbane State High School has a proud history where the Extra-Curricular (E-C) Program forms an integral component of the State High experience. Tradition is valued to acknowledge the past and maintain a consistent identity.
The E-C Program aims to offer a range of activities (Sporting, Cultural and Other) that provide opportunities for students to participate, learn, develop, and excel.
Sporting activities include participation in the Greater Public Schools Sports Association of Queensland Inc (GPS), Queensland Girls' Secondary Schools Sports Association (QGSSSA), Brisbane Schoolgirls' Rowing Association (BSRA) and competitions offered by other sporting associations. It also includes activities such as Chess (offered through GPS) and Debating (offered through both GPS and QDU - Queensland Debating Union).
We are looking for volunteer coaches in a number of activities to support our existing programs. The role would include 1-2 training sessions per week and a fixture each week in season.
