Purpose
The core responsibility of this position is to design and create assets across all areas of the ACT Brumbies business.
This includes, but is not limited to, creating concepts and assets for all campaigns (e.g. marketing, memberships, corporate hospitality, ticketing, merchandise, events, etc.), local and community rugby (e.g. competition support), high performance and our game days. Your designs will be used across a range of mediums including digital, print/signage, media assets and video.
The successful applicant will work directly with the Marketing department, collaborating on campaigns and providing input and advice around brand consistency.
This role will also provide support to the Content Producer, who is the lead for all Super Rugby Pacific ACT Brumbies team assets. You will support the Media team to keep the club’s digital channels up to date by providing and publishing editorial written/video content and contributing creative ideas.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and schedule design jobs (with assistance from the Head of Marketing)
- Develop creative concepts based on briefings (including requirements gathering, engagement with key internal/external stakeholders and implementation)
- Adhering to and maintaining brand guidelines (with assistance from the Head of Marketing)
- Create any new concepts/logos
- Provide content support for the Media team to increase the club’s brand visibility
- Create engaging and innovative ideas and executions in collaboration with internal departments
- Deliver high quality content and designs that meet briefs and deadlines
- Manage and maintain an internal library of design resources
- Act as a brand guardian and provide advice on brand usage including approving/rejecting third party designs
- Work and assist at key game days/events
- Other duties, directed by your manager

- Business Operations: Commercial, Marketing, Digital and Media functions of the business
- Community Rugby: Participation/Competition programs across ACT and southern NSW
- High Performance: coaches, trainers and other team performance functions of the business
Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements
- The successful applicant will have a strong work ethic, a team-first approach and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- The following skills and attributes are essential for the role:
- Adept at graphic design with previous experience in any industry
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro)
- Comfortable with traditional and digital media, paper sizing, typography and UX/UI terminology
- Attention to detail, time management and communication skills
- Creative thinker with the ability to turn ideas into reality
- Ability to work outside of normal working hours on occasion
- This role will require occasional extended hours and weekend work (particularly in season), specifically (but not limited to) all ACT Brumbies men's and women's home games and other events/activations (e.g. fan days, awards nights, etc.).
- Overtime will not be paid for weekend and out of hours work, however days in lieu will be provided
