Your next career opportunity
As the Finance and Systems Coordinator at Melbourne University Sport (MU Sport), you'll play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and systems innovation for one of Australia's leading university sports departments. You'll oversee financial operations, manage IT systems, and provide crucial support to internal units and sporting clubs. You'll have the opportunity to implement cutting-edge financial processes, leverage technology to enhance operations, and contribute to the success of diverse sport and fitness programs. Working closely with the General Manager to ensure MU Sport meets its organisational objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations, including accounts processing, club financial reporting, and compliance.
- Budget Coordination: Prepare and monitor departmental budgets, providing regular performance reports and analysis to key stakeholders.
- Systems Oversight: Manage IT requirements and ensure effective integration of management systems across the department.
- Club Support: Provide financial advice and support to sporting clubs.
You may be a great fit if:
You are an experienced finance professional with a strong understanding of IT systems, capable of driving operational excellence in a dynamic university sports environment while providing high-level support to diverse stakeholders.
You may also:
- Have a relevant degree or extensive experience in financial management and systems coordination.
- Possess strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting software.
- Demonstrate high-level computer proficiency, including advanced spreadsheet skills and IT knowledge.
- Have a working knowledge of GST in an accounts payable/receivable context.
