The Snow Australia Performance Pathway Manager is responsible for leading the strategic development and operational delivery of Snow Australia's national performance pathway, from talent identification through to elite-level preparation. This critical leadership role ensures alignment between sport programs and Snow Australia’s performance goals across all disciplines, including Olympic and Paralympic programs.
The role focuses on progressing athletes through the FTEM/Athlete Development Framework, supporting coaches and Daily Training Environments (DTEs), and delivering sustainable high-performance outcomes. It oversees the full pathway spectrum - from Emerging Talent Programs and Coach Academy to Institute partnerships (NSWIS, OWIA, VIS).
Reporting directly to the General Manager - Sport and serving as a key member of the Snow Australia leadership team, the Performance Pathway Manager provides strategic oversight and management of all pathway programs. This includes:
- Talent identification and targeted emerging athlete initiatives
- Coach development and education frameworks
- Underpinning performance and development programs across Pre-Emerging, Emerging and Developing categorisation across Snow Australia & Institute Programs.
- Oversight of Para development programs, camps, and talent search initiatives.
The role is also responsible for supporting the General Manager-Sport and CEO with Snow Australia’s performance partnership responsibilities with the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), Olympic Winter Institute of Australia (OWIA), state institutes (NSWIS, VIS, QAS), Australian Olympic Committee (AOC), and Paralympics Australia (PA).
The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader and excellent communicator with the ability to build credibility and collaborative relationships across the system, including with athletes, coaches, pathway providers, and national/international stakeholders.
