We are seeking an enthusiastic Indoor Sports Supervisor to join our team at the Menai Indoor Sports Centre. As the Indoor Sports Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our facility, ensuring that our programs and services run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the Senior Duty Officer and be the primary point of contact in their absence, demonstrating leadership and providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons.

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should possess strong supervisory skills, coupled with a passion for sports and recreation. If you enjoy working with people and have the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude, we want to hear from you!

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, Food Safety Handling Supervisor qualified and NSW Working with Children Check.
• Proven supervisory experience in a customer service environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in food handling and preparation, as well as proficiency in point-of-sale systems.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of Indoor Sports Officers, manage kiosk operations, oversee facility maintenance, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Your contributions will directly impact the community’s health and recreation experience, making this position both rewarding and fulfilling.

• Interview date: Interviews will be facilitated within two weeks of closing.
• Package: $69,785 - $73,858 (full time equivalent)  gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
• Hours of work: We are currently recruiting for two temporary roles, one at 30.5 hours per week and the other at 18.5 hours per week. Both positions are anticipated to be available for a period of up to 12 months.
• Applicants must be willing to work across a 7 day a week spread (Monday-Sunday) and available across the spread of hours that the facility is open (8.30am - 10.00pm) to support the operational requirements of the Centre.
