Your Role
We’re looking for individuals who are reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering great service. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, community-focused environment and bring a positive attitude to every shift.
As a Casual Indoor Sports Officer, you’ll support the daily operations of the Menai Indoor Sports Centre. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Operating the kiosk in line with food safety standards
- Setting up and packing down courts and equipment
- Managing bookings and point-of-sale transactions
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety across the facility
- Assisting with minor first aid and incident response
- Supporting promotional activities and programs
- Upholding child safety standards and Council policies
Essential:
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NSW Working with Children Check
- Food Safety Handling Certificate
Desirable:
- Barista training and food handling experience

- Package: Casual pay rate: $37ph + 12% super.
- Hours of work: Casual shifts offered as required in line with operational need.
Applicants must be willing to work across a 7 day a week spread (Monday-Sunday) with availability across the spread of hours that the facility is open (8.30am - 10.00pm) to support the operational requirements of the Centre. - To benefit your wellbeing you will have access to fitness passport, employee assistance program, annual flu shots, health and wellbeing programme and novated lease options.
Suitable candidates are subject to pre-employment screening which includes Reference Checks, Work Rights Verification, Identity check and will also include a Criminal History, Qualification and Working with Children Check. Employment is subject to clearance of all these checks.
