Wenona is seeking a Sports Administrator to provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the Sport Department across K–12, with a focus on Tennis, Hockey and Water Polo. This role supports the effective delivery of sport programs through accurate, timely administration and strong customer service, while contributing to carnivals, departmental activities and a positive internal culture where service, integrity and humour are valued.

The Position
- Coordinate all aspects of student participation in co-curricular sport, ensuring clear, consistent communication with students, parents, coaches and relevant school staff.
- Collaborate with the Sport Leadership Team to support effective planning, timetabling and logistical coordination of sporting programs, including facilities, venues, transport and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student participation, attendance, injuries, uniforms, rewards and compliance, ensuring all sport-related documentation and data are current and reliable.
- Manage and update sport databases, online platforms, school portals and fixture summaries, working with the Communications team to ensure accurate and timely information dissemination.
- Support the implementation and ongoing use of the school’s co-curricular sport platform and assist with the organisation of carnivals, tours, awards and major sporting events.
- Liaise professionally with the Director of Sport and Performance, Head of Sport, Head Coaches and the School Executive to manage enquiries, resolve concerns and uphold a collaborative, inclusive team culture.
This role is a temporary 12-month full-time position, with a Term 1 2026 start.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have relevant qualifications and at least three years’ experience in sport or event coordination, ideally within an educational or all-girls school setting. You will bring strong sport knowledge, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a clear understanding of the needs of young female athletes. You will demonstrate high-level administrative and IT capability, with the ability to manage competing priorities accurately and professionally. You will work collaboratively, meet all child safety requirements, and be committed to upholding the values of Wenona.
