This role requires strong leadership in complex national and international environments, accountability for performance outcomes, and the ability to navigate and drive cultural meaningful change.

Meaningful change will come by driving the following activities:

  • Leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure a coach-led, athlete-centred approach that integrates performance science, periodisation planning, and digital tools to support athlete development;
  • Planning, creating and delivery of training schedules, camps, competitions, and performance meetings while using digital platforms for effective communication and data management;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners including, but not limited to AIS, NIN, ASA Green and Gold Academies, and Clubs to foster a connected High Performance environment;
  • Role modelling High Performance behaviours and support a welcoming and growth-oriented culture, championing the values of Artistic Swimming Australia and contributing to team cohesion and innovation;
  • Engaging in ongoing learning, contributing to the program’s technical and cultural growth, and aligning with the Head Coach’s vision to support national performance objectives and Olympic cycle planning.
