Key Responsibilities;

The Strength and Conditioning Coordinator will lead on all matters relating to strength, conditioning and fitness both in developing our aspirational athletes and sports teams as well as instilling a whole school culture of athletic development and fitness by providing programs that promote students’ development of their physical and emotional wellbeing.

The ideal candidate must have;

• A comprehensive understanding of the specific fitness and functional movement requirements for a diverse range of sports
• Extensive knowledge and experience in athlete development
• Experience working with young adolescents in a school setting
• Understanding of mentoring, supporting and encouraging students
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Engaging and enthusiastic coaching style with effective communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with various levels of abilities across various age groups
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt and operate effectively in a demanding and changing environment
• An understanding of WHS responsibilities
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective training sessions
• Appropriate skills and qualifications relating to your chosen sport
• Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or a willingness to obtain prior to start date)
• Current Working with Children clearance (or a willingness to obtain prior to start date)
