The role:

  • Sports Administrator.
  • Permanent Full Time.
  • Start ASAP.
  • Works term-time only + 10 additional days scattered throughout school holidays. 
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm, plus Saturday mornings.
  • NB: Salary is unaveraged, meaning you are paid in full throughout the year.
  • Responsible for the coordination and execution of specific sports within the school sport program (co-curricular / interschool competitions).
  • Manage the 'life-cycle' of allocated sports (from registration and team selection to weekly games to season closure, including all relevant administration). 
  • Manage the recruitment and rostering of casual coaches within allocated sports.
  • Assists with sport carnivals (e.g. Swimming, Athletics) and other special events.
  • Assists with management and safe use of facilities and equipment.
  • NB - key sports allocated to this position will be Football (Soccer), Basketball, & Badminton, 

The ideal candidate:

  • Able to work Monday-Saturday.
  • Tertiary qualifications with specialisation in sport.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a school sport department, ideally in a similar role (or as a senior coach).
  • Demonstrated understanding of IGSA/IPSHA competitions.
  • Demonstrated experience in administration and record-keeping.
  • Intermediate proficiency in all standard computer software.
  • Strong attention to detail and general organisation / time management skills.
  • Personable, outgoing, and enthusiastic demeanour with a 'can-do' approach.
  • Able to engage effectively with children and adults of different backgrounds.
  • Motivated to be an active and visible participant in the life of Kambala.
