The Role

The Aquatic Centre houses an indoor heated technique pool and an indoor heated 25-metre, 8 lane pool and one (1) metre and three (3) metre diving boards.

Successful applicants:

• Are not currently enrolled in secondary school
• will possess exceptional communications skills
• a commitment to high customer service standards
• will enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment
• have proven ability to interact effectively and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, parents and community members to ensure maximum benefit from services provided

Requirements:

Essential

• Current Working with Children Check permit (or Full VIT registration)
• AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification (or equivalent)
• Current CPR Certificate
• Saturday morning shifts must have AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics qualification or equivalent

Desirable

• AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infants and Pre School Aquatics (INF), or equivalent
• First Aid Certificate
• Previous experience and/or background in swimming
• Australian Pool Lifeguard Certificate

Hours

• Monday - Thursday between 8:30am - 2:45pm, 3:30pm-6:30pm and Saturday mornings. 
• Limited hours during school holidays
