Position Overview

The Club Manager will drive the overall success of The Picklr Club. This individual will need to understand all the aspects of running an indoor pickleball facility with specific focus on membership sales, club programming, and backend operations.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Membership Sales
  • Manage programming schedule
  • Manage all staff - hiring, training, scheduling, payroll, etc.
  • Understand all software involved with running a club (Playbypoint, Aircall, Hubspot, Wingfield, SWISH, etc.)
  • Provided excellent customer service
  • Manage all club operational needs
  • Attend all assigned meetings and trainings  
  • Communicate with members, ambassadors, corporate team and staff

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management position
  • Ability to effectively and clearly explain memberships and programming offerings at The Picklr
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, management and corporate staff
  • Ability to organize and create program calendars and schedules
  • Ability to, as needed, create systems to maintain structure and consistency
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn new software and train employees • Proficient with basic computer software (Word, Sheets, Excel, Xero, etc.)
    • Preferred sales experience of 2 years
    • Preferred customer service experience of 2 years
    • Preferred knowledge of pickleball community and game play

Certifications

  • First Aid / CPR / AED 
  • RSA
  • Police Check
  • WWCC
  • The Picklr Corporate Certification - Club Manager must attend a week’s training at The Picklr HQ (Utah, USA)
