Position Overview

The Assistant Club Manager position will aid the Club Manager with day-to-day operations, programming, and customer service. The goal of this role is to allow the Club Manager to focus on the larger picture (Membership sales, scheduling programs in advance, private event sales, etc.) while the assistant handles the daily tasks such as running of programs and customer service.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Understands all membership offerings and ways to play at The Picklr
  • Understands and is able to run/train staff to run all core programs at The Picklr
  • Proficient with all club software programs (Playbypoint, Aircall, Hubspot, Wingfield, SWISH, etc.)
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Create programming schedules
  • Communicate with club manager, coaches, ambassadors, and front desk staff
  • Assist with club cleaning and maintenance
  • Complete assigned Trainings on time
  • Meet with the club manager regularly to ensure club goals are being met  

Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively and clearly explain memberships and programming offerings at The Picklr
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, management and corporate team
  • Ability to organise and create program calendars and schedules
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn new software and train employees
  • Proficient with basic computer software  (Word, Sheets, Excel, Xero, etc.)
  • Handle basic operations  (Cleaning, Stocking, Reordering, etc)
    • Preferred customer service experience of 1-2 years
    • Preferred knowledge of pickleball community and gameplay

  • WWCC
  • The Picklr Corporate Certification
