As a Board Director, you will work collaboratively with fellow directors to provide strategic leadership and oversight, including:
- Setting the strategic direction of the organisation
- Ensuring strong governance, compliance, and ethical decision-making
- Monitoring financial performance and organisational sustainability
- Identifying and managing risk
- Reviewing policies and key organisational initiatives
- Supporting stakeholder relationships with clubs, members, partners, and governing bodies
- Participating in Board meetings, email resolutions, and governance discussions
Applicants with experience across any of the following areas would be highly regarded:

- Legal and contract management
- Business Management
We also welcome applications from individuals with other skills, perspectives, or lived experiences that would strengthen the Board. Experience in motorcycling or sport is advantageous, though not essential.

The Impact You Will Have
Your contribution will help strengthen governance, support local clubs and volunteers, improve opportunities for riders and officials, and ensure motorcycle sport continues to thrive across Tasmania.
Time Commitment
The Board meets approximately six times per year, generally for 1-2 hours per meeting. Directors also review papers, participate in email discussions, and attend stakeholder governance meetings as required. Average commitment is approximately 2-4 hours per month, with some periods requiring additional time depending on projects, recruitment, stakeholder engagement, governance matters, or key organisational activities.
