About the Role
Do you have experience dealing with customers and enjoy the challenges that come with delivering outstanding levels of customer service in a fast-paced team environment? Are you available to work evenings and weekends as well as holidays? Can you be relied upon to work agreed shifts and work schedules?
If you answered "Yes" to the above, you should consider working as a Customer Service Officer at the Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre.
The focus of your role will be to assist patrons of RALC, and you will be the first point of contact for all customer enquiries. Your duties will include answering telephone enquiries, responding to email and front desk service. You will be processing forms as well as point of sale transactions and Swim School administration. If you are a team player with excellent customer service skills who can use initiative to solve day to day customer related issues this is a role you will enjoy.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons visiting Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience.
- Handle inquiries, memberships, bookings, program registrations, and payments efficiently and accurately.
- Assist with swim school enrolments and administration.
- Enforce safety regulations and rules to maintain a secure environment for all patrons.
- Address patron concerns or complaints promptly and professionally escalating to management when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the retail shop, reception, and other designated areas within the facility.
- Administrative tasks such as inventory management, coordinating birthday parties, records management and swim school absences under the supervision of management.
- Serve as a liaison between patrons and management, conveying feedback, suggestions, and concerns to relevant parties for consideration and action.
Essential Requirements
- High School Certificate or equivalent, or demonstrated experience in a customer service position.
Your commencing annual salary will range from $59,126.94 to $76,865.02 pa + Superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
