The role

The Site Supervisor Health and Wellness is responsible for providing day-to-day guidance across health and wellness services for Canterbury-Bankstown Leisure & Aquatic Centres.

This role supports the Team Leader in ensuring services are delivered to a high standard and in line with industry standards and the Customer Service Charter.

You will guide, train and support Health and Fitness Trainers and Wellness Instructors to deliver safe, engaging and high-quality programs and services.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Lead and uphold the Leisure & Aquatics Customer Experience Charter across health and wellness services.

  • Be a subject matter expert across CBCity’s health and wellness programs and assist leisure and aquatics staff in promoting health and wellness programs.

  • Plan, implement and promote health and wellness programs that support participation, retention and customer outcomes.

  • Guide, train and support Health and Fitness Trainers and Wellness Instructors.

  • Deliver classes and personal training sessions while maintaining required qualifications and professional development.

  • Support safe gym supervision, fitness testing, program development and customer issue resolution.

  • Monitor administration, reporting, KPIs and opportunities to attract new clients and revenue streams.

You will have:

  • Certificate III in Fitness.

  • Certificate IV in Fitness.

  • First Aid Certificate and current CPR Certificate.

  • Current Class C Drivers Licence.

  • Current Working with Children Check.

  • Demonstrated experience supervising health and wellness offerings and programs.

  • Experience leading a team to deliver high-quality service and programs in the fitness industry.

  • Strong planning, organisational, communication, customer service and administrative skills.

The salary range for this opportunity starts at $82,701 per annum (Grade F, Step 1) + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
