Western Sydney Wanderers FC is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team and help bring the club’s bold visual identity to life. From season launches and matchdays to digital campaigns seen by thousands, this is a hands on role for a creative who thrives in a fast-paced sporting environment and wants their work to make an impact
What you’ll be doing
You’ll play an active role in the day-to-day creative output of the club, producing high-quality design across print, digital and social, including:
Designing marketing collateral across online and offline channels from social content, digital banners and EDMs to signage, brochures and matchday assets
Creating eye catching content for campaigns, events, season launches and promotions
Producing and adapting social media content across static, motion and interactive formats (GIFs, reels, slideshows and short-form video)
Supporting video creation, editing and optimisation for digital and social platforms
Developing creative mock ups for sponsorships, campaigns and new business opportunities
Delivering matchday creative for CommBank Stadium and Wanderers Football Park
Supporting creative output for the Western Sydney Wanderers Academy
Preparing artwork and production files for print and digital delivery
Ensuring all creative aligns with brand guidelines while pushing ideas forward
Staying on top of design, digital and social trends and bringing fresh inspiration to the team
What you’ll bring
2+ years’ experience in a similar graphic design role in sport
A strong portfolio that shows your creative range and execution
Advanced skills across Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
High-level capability in Premiere Pro, After Effects or Final Cut Pro
Confidence working across digital, print and social media formats
Excellent attention to detail and time management
A proactive, can do mindset and the confidence to contribute ideas
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-moving team
