Description

The purpose of the Competitions Coordinator role is:

  • A willingness to establish and maintain strong lines of communication with clubs and other stakeholders.
  • Administration and Database Management (including GameDay and Game Changer)
  • Fixturing of all competitions
  • Work collaboratively with staff and committees to identify key opportunities for sustainable growth for leagues and tournaments
  • Providing support as needed to Winter Associations
  • Maintain adherence to the competition rules and regulations
  • Organise and conduct stakeholder meetings including Tribunals and Hub Meetings
  • Assist clubs in securing suitable grounds as required

Attributes needed to successfully navigate the role:

  • Excellent and tactful communication skills, time management and organisational skills, and ability to manage/prioritise tasks and resolve conflicts
  • Demonstrated capacity in the use of technology, including database management, websites, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Well-developed planning/program management skills with a high degree of attention to detail
