Description

Be part of the team shaping the future of handball in Australia. This role supports the delivery of key participation initiatives, working closely with schools, clubs, coaches and volunteers to grow the game, increase participation opportunities and build stronger school to club pathways across the country.

What You'll Bring

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Experience in sport administration, participation development, education, community engagement or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing newsletters, promotional content or stakeholder communications.
  • Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Confidence using digital platforms and software, including Microsoft Office and customer relationship or membership management systems.
  • An ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • A passion for increasing participation in sport and creating positive experiences for participants, schools and communities.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with schools, teachers, coaches or community sporting organisations.
  • Knowledge of Sporting Schools or school-based sport delivery programs.
  • Experience with website content management, social media platforms and digital communications.
  • Understanding of the Australian sporting system, including National Sporting Organisations and State Sporting Organisations.
