About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Learn-to-Swim Instructor to teach private swim lessons in Greenwich, Lane Cove Sydney. You will focus on water safety, confidence, and core swimming skills for children and/or adults in a friendly, structured environment.

About our Pool and Program

• 15m, one lane, Ozone pool (No Chlorine) 
• Majority 1-1 private lessons, sometimes 2 in a class. 
• Kids from 2 years old, Adult stroke correction and learn to swim

Availability: Weekday afternoons and weekends shifts available.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver private swim lessons following our learn-to-swim program.
• Teach core skills: water safety, floating, kicking, and basic strokes.
• Adapt lessons to different ages and abilities, including nervous beginners.
• Monitor student progress and update student's notes.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

• AUSTSWIM-qualified Swim Teacher (current accreditation).
• Strong swimming ability and comfortable teaching in the water.
• Current CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
• Any required child safety clearance (e.g. Working With Children Check in NSW).
• Available weekday afternoons on a regular basis.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to communicate clearly with children and families.

Desirable

• Previous experience teaching in a swim school or aquatics centre.
• Experience across multiple age groups (early childhood, school-age, adults).
