About the team – Performance Services is a specialised multi-disciplinary team of specialists who deliver performance services to support the AIS campus based high-performance activities that include NSO elite, pre-elite, development and intensive rehabilitation camps along with NSO Centre of Excellence and or National Training Centre programs.
About the role – This position will deliver high-level physiology support in a multi-disciplinary team environment to designated long and short stay camps and campus associated activity. The role has elements of work with residential programs based on the AIS Campus and will also provide support to identified priority projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team across AIS Performance and Operations. You will have the ability to further refine your specialist expertise across a number of modalities given the access to High-Performance Specialist facilities such as a Team Environmental Chamber and dedicated 22 bed Altitude House.
The successful candidate will have:
- Post Graduate Tertiary qualifications in science and/or related sports performance field.
- ESSA Level 1 Sport Scientist Accreditation
- ISAK Anthropometry Accreditation
- Current Sport Integrity Australia Annual Update Certificate
- Demonstrated experience of >5 years providing physiological testing, analyses and interpretation to achieve high performance outcomes for both individual and/or team sports at National Team level.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data, interpret results and produce reports to influencing and impact athletic training programs
The following criteria are desired:
- Demonstrated ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams and collaborate effectively to achieve improved high-performance sport outcomes and positive workplace and sport relationships.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide timely, compelling and concise advice to inform leadership members and senior management to support decision making
About you - You will be a self-motivated, driven and collaborative individual with excellent interpersonal skills who demonstrates initiative to engage with both internal team members and external sports to optimise the performance solutions offered on the AIS campus. The successful candidate will:

- Have the capability to work in a time constrained environment
