About Play Nation

Play Nation is a premium new indoor Pickleball and Padel club featuring high-quality courts, wellness facilities and recreation spaces. We are building a modern sports community that combines professional standards with a fun, inclusive environment.

We are seeking an experienced Club Manager to lead day-to-day operations, drive membership growth, events, academies and manage marketing initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in sports facility management, gym operations, hospitality leadership or recreation centre management.

The Role

As Club Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operational performance of the club, including court operations, wellness facilities, staff, coach and contractor supervision, marketing and community engagement.

You will play a key role in increasing memberships, improving member retention and strengthening brand presence through social media and local partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Manage daily operations of pickleball and padel courts
  • Manage and grow wellness and recreation facilities
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation
  • Manage booking systems, court scheduling and member services
  • Supervise and lead front-of-house and operational staff
  • Monitor operational performance and implement improvements
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations

Membership & Business Growth

  • Drive membership sales and retention strategies
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns
  • Identify business development and partnership opportunities
  • Monitor KPIs including revenue, utilisation rates and member growth

Social Media & Marketing

  • Manage Play Nation’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
  • Create engaging content including photos, reels and promotional posts
  • Plan and promote tournaments, leagues and events
  • Increase brand awareness and community engagement

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in sports facility management, gym management, hospitality management or recreation operations
  • Strong leadership and staff management skills
  • Experience in social media marketing and content creation
  • Proven ability to drive membership growth or sales targets
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive, hands-on management style
  • Passion for sport, fitness and community engagement

Experience with booking systems or sports management software is highly regarded.
