About this Opportunity
We are looking for an energised, talented and passionate Junior School Sports Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for junior school sport programs, including coach appointments and inductions
- Coordinate sporting fixtures, calendars, and training schedules (including before school and Wednesday sport)
- Liaise with coaches, referees, venues, and external providers
- Prepare sports reports and coordinate team photos
- Maintain sport rolls, attendance records, and Clipboard entries
- Support communication with parents and the wider school community
- Assist with sports events, including Saturday sport and carnivals
- Manage venue bookings and transport arrangements
- Support Sports Awards assemblies and other departmental initiatives
- Assist with student incident reporting and general administration
- Manage concussion processes for Junior School students
About you
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive administrator who is passionate about the value of sport in education. You bring strong communication skills and thrive working in a collaborative school environment.
Successful applicants will have the following knowledge, experience and skills:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across a range of age groups
- High-level written communication and administrative capability
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Confidence working with multiple digital platforms, including the Microsoft and Google suite of applications and Clipboard
- A commitment to supporting student development and participation in sport
