Lead the future of Swimming in Western Australia!

Swimming WA is seeking an experienced leader to drive the development and delivery of performance and workforce strategies towards the Brisbane 2032 Games.

What you will be doing

  • Drive and implement strategic and operational plans relating to the development of Performance Pathways, Coach Development, Officiating Development and Paralympic/Non-Paralympic Growth.
  • Collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of high-quality programs and projects.
  • Manage a high-performing, engaged team of salaried and contracted staff within the Pathways Department.
  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of programs, policies, processes and projects across the Pathways Department.
  • Operate confidently in a complex, fast-paced environment whilst supporting the development and performance of the Western Australian swimming community.

Who we are looking for

  • Experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within sport or a related sector.
  • Exceptional Stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse groups.
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategic and operational plans.
  • The ability to lead, develop and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related area, including but not limited to Sport, Business and/or Education.

Employment Details

  • Full-time, permanent role.
  • 38 hours per week, with flexibility to work after hours where required.
  • Intra/interstate and international travel maybe required.
  • Valid Australian work rights are required for this position.
