As Club Licensing & Compliance Manager, you’ll work directly with clubs and Member Associations across Oceania, helping ensure the standards underpinning the OFC Professional League are understood, implemented and continually strengthened.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of OFC Professional League, you will be responsible for implementing, administering and developing the OFC Professional League Club Licensing System.
You’ll be a key point of contact for Club Licensing matters, working closely with OFC, Member Associations, participating clubs and external experts throughout the licensing process.
This is a full-time position based in Auckland, with a minimum of 40 guaranteed hours per week.
This is more than an administration role. You’ll work directly with clubs to help them understand licensing requirements, monitor their progress, navigate submissions and address areas where criteria have not yet been met.
You’ll also coordinate Club Licence assessments, deliver training and workshops, support clubs with the use of the OFC COMET system and contribute to the ongoing improvement of OFC’s Club Licensing processes and standards.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing OFC Professional League Club Licensing
- Acting as a key contact for OFC, Member Associations and clubs on Club Licensing matters
- Supporting clubs through the licensing process and monitoring progress against submission deadlines
- Coordinating Club Licence assessments with independent and external experts
- Reviewing submissions and helping clubs address areas that do not meet required criteria
- Preparing licensing reports for relevant OFC committees, the Executive Committee and Appeals Body
- Delivering Club Licensing training, courses, seminars and workshops
- Supporting clubs with the use of the OFC COMET system
- Coordinating quality compliance audits
- Keeping across developments in Club Licensing standards and providing informed advice
- Continually improving Club Licensing processes, administration and supporting documentation.
About You
You’ll be someone who can balance compliance, organisation and attention to detail with strong relationship management.
You’ll be working with clubs, Member Associations, external experts and internal stakeholders, so you’ll need to communicate requirements clearly, adapt your approach to different audiences and confidently work through issues when they arise.
You’ll be proactive, highly organised and comfortable managing competing deadlines. You’ll also be able to work autonomously while keeping key stakeholders informed and ensuring processes continue to move forward.
Must Haves
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- A relevant tertiary Level 7 qualification or a minimum of five years’ relevant experience
- Knowledge of Club Licensing and its requirements
- Previous experience in football administration
- Experience in auditing and administration
- An understanding of financial reporting
- Experience preparing and delivering courses, seminars or workshops
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other project management and collaboration tools
- The ability to travel and work for extended periods away from home as required
- Flexibility and readiness to work weekends or late nights when required

Working Across Oceania
OFC operates across a diverse region, and this role will require flexibility.
There will be occasions where you need to work weekends or evenings, as well as travel and spend extended periods away from home depending on the requirements of the role.
Additional languages beyond English would be beneficial.
Other Requirements
Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand and be able to satisfactorily complete OFC’s required Ministry of Justice criminal history and credit checks.
