Elite Edge Physiotherapy is seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our team in 2027 in a part-time role focused on sports rehabilitation, strength & conditioning and athlete development.
This is not a traditional Exercise Physiology position. You’ll work alongside our physiotherapy team across the rehabilitation-to-performance pathway, helping athletes progress from the gym back to training and competition.
The role will also have the opportunity to contribute to Elite Edge’s growing school and sporting partnerships, including strength & conditioning programming, athlete monitoring and coach education.
The Role
Your week will include a combination of:
- Delivering 1:1 Exercise Physiology and exercise rehabilitation
- Leading and developing our small-group rehabilitation sessions
- Strength & conditioning programming for youth and developing athletes
- Programming and athlete management through TeamBuildr and/or Lumin
- Athlete monitoring and progression
- Supporting late-stage rehabilitation and return-to-performance
- Performance testing using VALD Systems
- Working collaboratively with physiotherapists on rehabilitation programs
- Contributing to school-based athlete development programs
- Supporting coach education and S&C professional development

Non-Negotiable Requirements
Applicants must have:
- ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) status, or be eligible for accreditation prior to commencement
- ASCA accreditation
- Demonstrated strength & conditioning experience
- Demonstrated experience working with athletes and/or athletic populations
- Strong understanding of gym-based rehabilitation and return-to-performance
- Ability to confidently coach strength, power, jumping, landing, acceleration, deceleration and change-of-direction activities
- Excellent communication and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Current Working With Children Check
- SIRA Accreditation
Highly Regarded

- Youth athlete development
- TeamBuildr or similar programming platforms
- Field and court-based sports
- Rugby League, Football, Basketball, Netball and/or Cricket
- VALD ForceDecks/Dynamo
- Group-based rehabilitation
- Coach education
