The GPS Analyst is responsible for collecting and analysing player GPS data and providing the coaching and performance staff with information to support training, workload management and player performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Set up, operate and manage the team's GPS monitoring system for training and games.
Collect, organise and maintain accurate GPS and player load data.
Analyse training and game data to monitor player workload, running demands and physical performance.
Provide clear and relevant reports to the Head of Performance and coaching staff.
Identify changes in player workload, fatigue and physical output that may require attention.
Assist the Head of Performance with training load management and planning.
Provide position and player-specific data to support individual development and performance.
Ensure GPS equipment is maintained, charged, organised and ready for use.
Maintain accurate records and ensure data is stored appropriately.
Communicate effectively with the Head Coach, Head of Performance and relevant coaching staff.
Hours:
Training sessions will take place 3 x afternoons a week. You will be required to attend all training sessions as well as home games.
Hours will be discussed in further detail with applicants who progress.
