Adelaide University Sport and Fitness (AUSF) is looking for a motivated and energetic Head Coach to lead the performance program of Adelaide University Rugby, with primary responsibility for the Men’s Premier Grade program.

The Head Coach will provide whole-of-club coaching leadership, establishing and maintaining the standards, behaviours, playing philosophy and performance culture expected across all grades and playing groups. The role will foster a positive, high-performance and inclusive rugby environment in which players and coaches are supported to develop and perform at their best.

While directly leading the Men’s Premier Grade program, the Head Coach work collaboratively with the club’s coaching group to promote a consistent coaching philosophy, playing style and approach to player development across the club.

A key responsibility of the role will be the development and support of coaches across all grades. This will include providing mentoring, guidance, feedback, coaching resources and opportunities for coaches to build their capability, confidence and leadership skills.

The Head Coach will provide direction, mentoring and support to the Reserves, Women’s and Junior coaching programs, working with those coaches weekly to promote consistency, player development and alignment with the club’s broader rugby program, while recognising specific needs and requirements of each playing group.

The Head Coach will be a visible leader within Adelaide University Rugby working with the Club Committee, coaches, players and key stakeholders to build a strong, connected and aspirational rugby program. The role will position Adelaide University Rugby as a destination of choice for players and coaches, recognised for its high-quality coaching, inclusive culture, strong player and coach development pathways, and commitment to competitive performance.

This is a part time role 0.4FTE. Total renumeration is $60,000 - $70,000 FTE plus super and access to car park and gym membership.
