About Hockey Brisbane
Hockey Brisbane is the new single governing entity for hockey in Brisbane, being formed by the proposed amalgamation of Brisbane's three existing hockey associations (Brisbane Hockey Association, Brisbane Women’s Hockey Association, and Hockey Brisbane Incorporated). Member approval for amalgamation is being sought at Special General Meetings on 31 October 2026, and the entity will operate from late 2026.
Once established, Hockey Brisbane will have approximately 6,000 players across 25 clubs, with annual revenue of approximately $2.5 million.
