Shape the future of Amateur boxing in Australia!

Boxing Australia is seeking nominations for one (1) Elected Director and two (2) Appointed Director positions to join the board.

Boxing Australia is the national sporting organisation for amateur boxing in Australia. It is the National Federation recognised by World Boxing and exercises exclusive control and management of Olympic boxing in Australia. Its members are eight State and Territory Associations.  Our mission is to grow participation, strengthen pathways, achieve consistent international success and provide safe, well-governed and financially sustainable opportunities for our athletes and our sport.

We want Directors who will question and challenge constructively, bring diverse views, influence others and work proactively to find solutions. Boxing Australia is committed to a diverse and inclusive culture and encourage applications from women and gender diverse people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from multicultural and regional communities, and people with disability.

We are specifically looking for leaders with skills and experience in the following strategic areas:

• Finance, Accounting, or Audit
• Commercial Partnerships, Events, and Sponsorship
• High-Performance Sporting Expertise

Available Positions

• Elected Director (1 Position): Elected by members at the AGM on Friday 27 November 2026 for a three-year term.
• Appointed Directors (2 Positions): Appointed by the Board post-AGM for a term of up to three years.
