Established in 1930, the EDFL is one of Victoria’s leading community Australian Rules Football competitions, proudly serving Melbourne’s north-western suburbs.
With 39 affiliated clubs and more than 480 teams, the EDFL is a diverse, inclusive and thriving sporting organisation, committed to fostering participation, strengthening communities and delivering excellence both on and off the field.
As the League continues to grow and evolve, we are seeking progressive, strategic and committed individuals who can contribute to its ongoing success and long-term sustainability.
Who are we looking for?
We welcome applications from individuals who demonstrate:
- A strong understanding of community sport and the important role sporting organisations play in local communities.
- Sound business acumen, strategic thinking and commercial experience.
- Experience in governance, leadership, financial management or organisational development.
- A commitment to integrity, collaboration, diversity and inclusion.
- A genuine passion for supporting the growth and sustainability of community football.
Previous board experience would be highly regarded but is not essential.
