Description
This course will refresh the skills and knowledge that participants learnt on the full Pool Lifeguard course. The course will cover Lifeguard and the Law, Risk Management, Aquatic Supervision, Aquatic Rescue and Oxygen Resuscitation.
Units of competency gained from this course are:
- HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid (Credit Transfer)
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- SISCAQU021 - Perform complex water rescues
- SISCAQU020 - Perform water rescues
- SISCAQU022- Provide oxygen resuscitation and therapy in an aquatic environment
- SISCAQU019 - Supervise patron safety in aquatic locations
Prerequisites:
- Must hold a HLTAID003 or HLTAID011 Provide First Aid Certificate
- Candidate recommend age 16
