Wynnum Rugby Union have positions vacant across all 4 seniors sides. 

A Grade, B Grade and Womens - competing in the Sunshine Coast Competitions & Colts (U20's) competing in the Thursday night Tuckey Cup Compeititon. 

Along with positions being open across all 4 senior sides - there is a primary focus on an experienced A Grade Forwards/contact coach. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To lead on areas of delivery as agreed with the Head Coach which is currently scrum, lineout, contact, maul and the ruck.
  • To share ownership of players’ development plans as agreed with the Head Coach, working with players to develop their understanding of their own performance and to maximise strengths and mitigate weaknesses.
  • To assist in the administration and management of teams as required

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience coaching at Senior Level;

WOMENS HEAD COACH

Wynnum Bugs Rugby Union Club have entered an exciting period of growth in women’s rugby. After two years of hosting a strong development side with consistent registrations of over 30 players and rapid improvement of skills, the club is ready to take this team to the next level.

The Bugs are seeking an experienced, devoted and ambitious Head Coach who will lead and be responsible for developing and delivering game strategies and facilitating player development for the Wynnum Bugs Open Women’s squad.
The role

  • Develop and deliver training sessions and game strategies from pre-season through to the grand finalLead the strategic direction of the senior women’s program with a focus on growth and development.
  • Identify and nurture talent for selection at representative level
  • Collaborate as part of the senior coaching team to see Wynnum Rugby continue and grow its strong presence within the Sunshine Coast Rugby Union competition.
  • Contribute to the vision for growth of junior girls rugby and the development of a clear pathway for girls into senior opportunities
