BA is looking for a skilled and passionate project coordinator to lead the development and delivery of our Shuttle Smash program, helping to grow badminton and increase our participation numbers. Shuttle Smash is badminton’s introductory program where children first experience the sport in a fun, safe and inclusive environment and learn fundamental movements. BA has recently secured grant funding from the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) to expand our offer across more clubs, communities and organisations. The Shuttle Smash Coordinator will oversee the project and manage day to day tasks, ensuring deliverables meet the criteria identified in the grant and objectives submitted in the grant application. The role will work collaboratively with a number of internal staff as well as the ASC, member organisations, local clubs and associations, coaches, volunteers and delivery partners.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate who is passionate about providing sports opportunities for all to work for a National Sports Organisation, making a tangible difference to the lives of others through facilitation of badminton programs that deliver social impact. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to work autonomously and thrives working in a fast-paced environment, with exceptional time management, outstanding communication skills, and a solutions focused mindset.
