Northern Suburbs Basketball Association Inc (Norths Basketball) is a community-based not-for-profit sporting association with a North Shore history extending over forty years. With over 5,000 registered playing members and an award winning management team, the association aims to build a community renowned for its sportsmanship providing opportunities for everyone to participate in basketball.

The role
Full-time - Senior Manager
Working within a department team of twelve and reporting to the General Manager, Finance and Operations, this position is responsible for ensuring the front of house and stadium experience for our customers is exceptional. You’ll achieve this through setting standards, leading the way through your own interactions, and training the team.
This position also leads the scheduling of all activities across our five venues which includes external hire and our own competitions, programs and special events. The role also includes working with maintenance providers to maintain our venues as well as the management of our food and beverage offering. Direct reports - [12] people.
Your remit for providing an exceptional customer experience within our venues encompasses the condition of the physical environment and the interactions with the front of house team.
This position is part of our senior management team and based at the North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre, a four-court facility, which we manage on behalf of the North Sydney Council.
Who we are looking for
A senior customer service manager with experience leading a small front-of-house team. You not only like working with customers; you lurve it.
You have a positive energy and focus on making sure our customers have the best experience possible while they’re here.
You are able to demonstrate high levels of integrity, autonomy and self-motivation as well as practice empathy in all you do.
You are organised, have a detail oriented approach and can clearly communicate with the team and customers.
This role is perfect for people currently working as a gym manager, restaurant manager, RSL manager, hotel manager or similar.
*Previous basketball association experience is not required, but a love for the game is.
