Rugby Australia, the governing body of rugby union in Australia, is looking for an experienced Ticketing & Memberships Coordinator to assist with delivering Rugby Australia’s ticketing program for the Wallabies, Wallaroos, Waratahs and Brumbies.
The role will also support the Wallabies First, Waratahs and Brumbies membership programs and ensure that their members receive the best quality of customer service. There will also be the opportunity to build and implement new pipeline membership products for emerging rugby markets, with a key focus on schools and junior ranks.
Key Accountabilities
Ticketing
Liaise with venues and ticket agents to assist with delivering ticket event builds
Collate ticketing requirements from internal departments and external stakeholders
Transact, print and distribute allocations
Answer enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
Produce venue maps and CADs for distribution to stakeholders
Assist with coordinating marketing requirements with Rugby Australia’s marketing and ticketing agents
Manage the Ticketing Services inbox and ensure that emails are answered within 48 hours
Assist with game day ticketing operations including box office management, staffing and ticketing agent liaison when it is required
Assist with developing new programs (when it is required) and initiatives to increase ticketing revenue
Assist with managing release backs from various constituents, i.e. hospitality, partners, travel and other departments
Provide general administrative support
Provide sales and match reports when they are required
Generate and distribute ticket order forms to Rugby Australia’s constituents
Coordinate the payment of invoices and purchase orders
Assist with coordinating any travel bookings, meetings, agendas and minutes
Maintain the ticketing team’s filing systems
Memberships
Implement membership programs to facilitate the delivery of key strategic business objectives
Manage the event builds for the membership program
Work with key stakeholders to help facilitate the delivery of their strategic plans
Work with Rugby Australia’s Commercial, Partnerships and Sales teams to achieve and maintain productive, progressive and harmonious relationships with key stakeholders and partners
Effectively use information to determine the financial position of the Wallabies First membership, i.e. manage and monitor the budget by tracking and approving expenditures (within delegated authority), control costs, validate expenses and anticipate and correct forecasting errors
Manage the membership event operations and activities for the Wallabies, Waratahs and Brumbies to profitably strengthen direct relationships with fans, with an emphasis on new emerging markets and retention
Research, develop and implement a range of membership acquisition, retention/renewal and revenue strategies
Assist with developing new programs (when it is required) and initiatives to increase the member base
Develop and implement detailed reporting systems to measure program performance of programs and recommend and implement changes
