About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Events, the Officiating Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the effective coordination, support, and development of officials at Hockey Australia events, ensuring smooth logistics, compliance with policies, quality reporting and strong communication between Hockey Australia and key stakeholders. This newly created part time role is being offered on a 4 day per week basis (30.4 hours).
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure appropriate appointments of Officials to National Championships to sustain their development in line with the Officials Panel System
- Implement the appointment process for Officials at Hockey Australia domestic and international events in alignment with HA’s Officials Appointment and Travel Policy
- Manage the appointment process and coordinating logistical arrangements such as accommodation, flights, transport, and uniform orders for Officials at Hockey Australia domestic and international events
- Manage the process for post-event funding acquittals for officials appointed to HA domestic and international events
- Oversee incident reporting and code of conduct breach reporting at HA domestic and international events to form a sustainable process for the collation of key information in line with policy
- When not undertaken by the respective Committee, order uniforms, book flights, accommodation & car hire for international representative teams (Country, Indoors and Masters)

Remuneration
Hockey Australia will offer a $50,000 - $55,000 (pro-rata) salary plus superannuation dependent upon the successful applicant's skills and experience.
Experience, Skills and Attributes
- 2+ years’ experience providing a high level of administrative support
- Travel booking experience (preferred but not essential)
- Event planning and delivery experience (preferred but not essential)
- Very strong attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to solve problems, resolve conflict and offer constructive solutions
