About the Position:
The Pathways Coordinator will provide project management and administrative support for Hockey NSW pathways programs and state teams.
Key Responsibilities:
State Teams
- Coordinate the operational elements of state team selections including meeting schedules, agreements, and travel and accommodation.
- Manage the logistics of selection events in terms of venues, officials and scheduling.
- Communicate key information to both team officials and parents/players in relation to the state team program
- Collaborate with HNSW colleagues on apparel, travel and accommodation for state teams at National Championships
Athlete Development
- Communicate the development and competition pathways available to athletes
- Disseminate the curriculum and hockey coaching programs to coaches to be implemented at camps and events
- Assist with parent communication and expectations
- Support associations and clubs in developing their coaches
The Pathways Coordinator will assist in the implementation of the relevant part of the HNSW Operational Plan and the oversight of the pathways budget.
About You:
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in talent identification and pathway programs
- Program/project management experience
- Strong administrative skills including across the MS suite of programs
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to liaise with, manage and build relations with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Capacity to work collaboratively.
Due to the nature of the sporting industry, there will be some work required on weekends and evenings. Remuneration is negotiable depending on experience.
